How to Install Flash Player on Fedora 24 Workstation
Adobe flash player plugin is not installed by default on Fedora Linux 24. If you are using fedora 24 as your desktop operating system you need to install flash player plugin to play flash videos from the web browser.
In this tutorial we are going to learn how to install adobe flash player on Fedora workstation 24. For this tutorial I use fedora 24, but you can use this method to install flash on any fedora version.
To install flash player on fedora first we need to add adobe flash repository. Once we add the repository we can install flash player on fedora Linux using dnf install command. So let’s see how it is done.
Add flash Repository for Fedora Linux
We can add the flash player repository for fedora 24 using the rpm command. To add the repository, Open the Linux terminal and execute the following command.
rpm -Uvh http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/adobe-release/adobe-release-x86_64-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
Run the dnf repolist command to make sure that the fedora flash repository is active.
dnf repolist
Install Flash Player on Fedora 24
Now install the flash plugin using dnf install command as follows.
dnf install flash-plugin
Once the Installation is finished, you can go to following URL to check the flash player installation.
