Install Atom Text Editor on Fedora 24 Workstation
In this article I am going to show you how to install Atom Text Editor on Fedora 24 Workstation.
First, we are going to download Atom .rpm package for Fedora Linux 24. Then we can install the atom text editor on Fedora 24 using dnf install command.
Download Atom for Fedora Linux
For Fedora Linux, we need to download .rpm Atom package. Go to atom website and download .rpm package to your computer.
Save the .rpm installer to your hard drive.
Install Atom rpm package using dnf command
After downloading is finished, we can install the downloaded .rpm file using the dnf install command.
dnf install atom.x86_64.rpm
After the installation is finished, you can open atom text editor from the fedora gnome activities menu.
