What is AWS Identity and Access Management
AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a free security service provided by Amazon Web Services to control user access to the AWS resources and the Services. Access management is done by using users and groups and assigning them specific permissions.
AWS Provides multi cloud computing services like Virtual private servers, Databases, Storage and so. With AWS Identity and Access Management you can define what services a user can access and furthermore you can limit access within a specific service. For example, you can allow user to create EC2 instance, but limit to the certain type or size.
