Tips to Improve DaVinci Resolve Rendering Performance

If your video is stuck on the Deliver page in DaVinci Resolve, here’s a solution that could help speed up the rendering process.

First, cancel the rendering process and close DaVinci Resolve.

Next, open Task Manager and make sure the DaVinci Resolve process isn’t running. If it’s running, right-click it and select ‘End Task.’ Then, go to the Performance tab and check that CPU, memory, and GPU usage are at a minimum.

After that, go back to DaVinci Resolve, open your project, and go to the edit page.

In the Edit page, go to Playback, then Render Cache, and select Smart.

When you do that, redlines will appear at the top of the timeline above the clips that take longer to render. These redlines will turn blue as DaVinci Resolve caches your clips

What you need to do is wait until all the red lines turn blue.

If some sections don’t turn blue, try moving the playhead a few times

Only after all the red lines turn blue, go to the Deliver page and start rendering your video again.
